ISpring WSP-50 Spin-Down Sediment Filter
The first line of defence for well water.
Sand, grit and rust flakes are hard on everything downstream — they clog cartridges early, scratch softener valves and shorten appliance life. The WSP-50 sits at the front of the line and catches the coarse load on a reusable stainless-steel screen, so the stages after it only have to do their real job.
When the clear bowl shows buildup, you don't buy anything: open the flush valve at the bottom, the trapped sediment washes out in seconds, and the screen goes straight back to work. No cartridges to stock, nothing thrown away every few months.
- 50-micron stainless-steel mesh screen — reusable and flushable
- Clear housing, so you can see when it needs a flush
- Compact: 3.5″ × 3.5″ × 9″ — fits in line where a full-size housing won't
- Up to 20 GPM flow — sized for whole-house duty
- 1-inch MNPT outlet with 3/4-inch NPT inlet/outlet threads — fits 1-inch and 3/4-inch lines out of the box
- Working range 20–90 psi, 40–100 °F (manufacturer specifications)
Best for: well homes with visible sand or grit, and any whole-house system whose cartridges clog too fast.
Not for: fine silt on its own (a cartridge stage still follows it), or treating any health contaminant — this is a sediment guard, and it makes no health claims.
From Tandem: we fit it as stage one of your system and pair it with a water test, so the stages after it are chosen from evidence, not guesswork. Professional installation available.
